The Concord Composite Squadron, Civil Air Patrol’s local unit in Concord, New Hampshire, will host its Spring Open House and Recruiting Night on Thursday, March 3rd starting promptly at 6:30pm at the New Hampshire Army National Guard Armory in Concord.

This twice-annual event is the first opportunity in 2016 for interested youth and adults to become a part of Civil Air Patrol in the Concord area.

The Concord Squadron uses a unique “pipelining” approach to new membership & training which brings prospective members into the unit only twice a year, at predesignated times, to begin new member training.  This Spring’s new member period begins at the Open House on March 3rd, and closes with “Inprocessing Night” on March 17th where new member’s applications will be reviewed and forwarded to National Headquarters.

Reservation MapAccess to the NH Army National Guard Reservation is via the Minuteman Way Gate off Regional Drive adjacent to Concord Airport.  Please have photo ID available for the sentries at the gate.  Once on the NH ARNG Reservation, proceed to the HQ Armory, which is located at the extreme northern end of the reservation, near Pembroke Road (see the star in the diagram to the right).

If you are interested in joining but cannot visit during the Open House, don’t despair! Contact Lt Col Darin Ninness via email (dninness@nhwg.cap.gov) or phone (603-340-7062) for other arrangements.
