Soaring Safety Foundation’s Wing Runner Course:

  • Visit the Wing Runner Course and read thru each page. It is pretty straightforward, there are only 6 pages.
  • Wing Runner CertificateTake the Final Exam (put your CAPID & other information in when requested). It is 20 multiple-choice questions and you will be given an opportunity to review your answers before submitting.
  • Following completion of the exam, you will be presented with a certificate page similar to the graphic to the right, and a link to a PDF version of the certificate.  SAVE THIS CERTIFICATE!  Keep a local copy of this on your PC at home in case your certification is not recorded correctly by NHQ.

You must complete both the Aircraft Ground Handling and Wing Runner Course prior to flying in the gilders. Do this now, instead of later, as we must maximize the slots and participation.  If you are an alternate to the activity or a “maybe,” do the training now, as well.
